“After placing an order for food within my community one evening, I was shocked to find out I would have to pay an additional N1500 delivery charge. How absurd! I canceled the order and drove down to the restaurant instead, puzzled and wondering why I had to pay such a ridiculous amount for delivery within my community. But this concern was not just about having to get my dinner that evening, it also led me to question why businesses had to expend more on delivery, almost than the product itself. There had to be a way out. So, days after, my co-founder, Jaiyeola Ayodeji, and I began research on how to provide affordable delivery while cutting down maintenance and operational costs to the minimum.
Knowing about Deliveroo and what they had done with bicycles, we dived deeply into bicycle delivery and how we could scale it in Nigeria. We discovered that using bicycles as our means of delivery will reduce overheads, reduce carbon footprint, and enable us to drastically reduce delivery costs by almost 40% in the first 12 months of operation, as we do not have to spend heavily on maintenance and needed zero budget on fuel. So, Errand360 came into being!
We officially launched in May 2021, Lagos State, Nigeria, and have since recorded exponential growth, which has aided our expansion to other states in Nigeria. Now, with a constantly increasing team of over a hundred riders and more than fifty staff members, the company operates from its headquarters in Lagos, and across branches in Abuja, Ibadan, and expanding to other cities across Africa”

We officially launched in May 2019, and within 75 working days, we were able to fulfill over 2000 deliveries covering over 11,000KM of non-carbon emission whilst reducing cost of delivery. Now, with a constantly growing team of over a hundred riders and more than fifty staff members, the company operates from its headquarters in Lagos, and across branches in Abuja, Ibadan, and expanding to other cities across Africa” -Adetola Adele (Founder/CEO)
